Thanks to the sponsorship of the Cape Leopard Trust we were able to take 20 children from the Lavender Hill community to a weekend camp in the Cederberg mountains. The kids had an exciting and educational experience. We had the amazing opportunity to learn hands on about nature, the Cape Leopards, astronomy, animal tracks, and rock art. We also learned how to set up a tent, use a bucket shower,  and cook over a camp fire. The children enjoyed hiking, swimming, roasting marshmallows , and sharing stories around the camp fire until late into the night. It was an amazing experience for us all!
